Some Big Ol' Shop Changes

Over the past couple of years I've been on Etsy. I opened my first store in 2010 and it was a success! With that success was growth {in myself and my vision} and new inspiration so a second shop was born. Oliver's Treasure Chest
I opened the shop just after my second was born and was super excited about it! But I got very caught up in being a mommy and actually enjoyed blogging more than sewing for some time. Then I was a part of The Stitch Market this past December and my sewing sort of jumped back into the front seat. After the Stitch Market I was super burnt out and I stopped sewing again. See a trend here? Growth, excitement, inspiration, exhaustion, change. That has pretty much been my trend over the past two years. Well, I'm sick of it!
I am not quite sure yet what I want to 'be' when I grow up, but I do know what I would love to 'do' and that is be a blogger and run a shop. Eventually a brick & mortar shop. But if I am going to do that, I need to take myself more seriously. So, with that I am taking a very long and extended break from Etsy. It has been fun and it has been wonderful, but I feel that Etsy isn't the direction I want to be and I don't feel it to be the right tool for my success.
Bummer, right? Well, lucky for you, I still have lots of inventory I would like to get rid of so I am offering my readers, followers, fans 30% off anything in my shop!
Use code SEEYAHLATER at check out to receive this discount. Share it with your friends, too! As soon as inventory is gone, I will close down shop.
This isn't goodbye, though! I'm in the works on something bigger, something better, something that will be wonderful for not only me, but you too!
It's more like, See Yah Later!
