Welcome!

Hello! Welcome to my blog! I am Ashley and you can read all about me here. I used to blog over at The Little Willow Tree until December of 2012 when I made the move to Blogger and decided to change my name. You can read all about why I made that change here. What you can expect to find on my little ol' blog is a lot of crafting, projects, my obsession with Pinterest, sewing, thrifty finds, a few personal details {for my personal blog A Fox & A Wolf, go here}, and diy projects and things that inspire me. So if you are new here, thank you for coming by! I am really excited to have you be a part of Chevron Stitches and share with you things that are important to me. 

I do a lot of diy projects as well as sewing tutorials. I like to take the really cool stuff and share them with the world. One of my favorite diy projects was one with my kids; bubbles! Check back often as I am adding new projects and sewing tutorials weekly. 

I also work on a lot of projects for my kids. I do a lot of sewing for my daughter and have recently made a really cool drum for my son for Christmas. 

I have three weekly features on the blog. Monday's you can come and get my weeks inspirations with Hello Monday. It's my attempt to get people excited for the week instead of having a 'case of the Monday's' with cool and pretty inspirations. I also have Work in Progress Wednesday where you will see the progress of a sewing project I have going on or maybe a snippet of our room redo. And Friday's are my Pinspiration Fridays. I have a small addiction to Pinterest and love finding projects on there so I created a board, pin things to it weekly, then every Friday showcase a Pinspiration. If I get enough interest, it may become a weekly link up! 

Oh, and I also have an online book club called Thread the Pages. 

I had been wanting to join a local friend's book club, but couldn't commit to leaving the house for the meetings with a new born so I decided to make my own - online! There are currently 20 members and I get more inquiries about joining every month. If you would like to join, please send me an email at willow.little {at} gmail {dot} com!
