Recently I have dipped in to the world of hand carving stamps. I've made quite a few, mostly for Oliver's birthday. I made an anchor stamp and a little fishy stamp for his birthday invite envelopes and for a few decorations. I also made a teepee stamp for the fabric I'm using to make his teepee for his birthday. While stamping said fabric, I look over and see a blank onesie that was screaming at me to stamp it.
So I did.
And now I am addicted! Definitely making more of these little cuties!
Totally adorable! I love this :)
ReplyDeleteso cute! I used to love stamps as a kid and would love to get them again and just stamp everything. fun!

Jackie, I was the same way! I don't know why I fell out of it... stamping seems to be all the rage right now!
Deletewhere did you get the stuff to make the stamps? you should make a DIY post on it lol
ReplyDeleteI actually used rubber erasers found at the dollar store [the big, white block kind] and an exacto knife. I actually need to buy a kit made to do this with the proper tools because I almost sliced my finger off a dozen times since I didn't have a digging tool! Once I get the proper things to carve stamps the right way, I will do a DIY post. So check back often as it may go up soon!
