Blogging is my life. Well, more like my job; my kids are my life. I love to blog and I love to make connections with bloggers/shop owners near and far. Having a great community of bloggers at my fingertips is such an amazing thing because it helps build encouragement for what we do. But I love nothing more than an organic relationship and that has inspired me to want to form a bloggers/shop owner meet up.
I think having a local bloggers/shop owner meet up would be a great way to form a close-knit community where we can encourage and inspire one another and make some amazing new organic friends at the same time.
If you're local to my area and blog [or thinking about blogging] and/or own a shop [ie: Sorenvy, Etsy, Big Cartel, etc.] and are interested in being a part of a meet up, please contact me via email at willow.little [at] gmail [dot] com. If you're interested in sponsoring a meet up, please contact me via email as well.
Let's get together and inspire!
I have been wanting to do something like this, too, in my neighborhood! But I haven't been able to find anyone who lives close by that has a blog/shop and is interested yet.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely idea.

It's so hard to find anyone local if you don't personally know someone. Like the comment mentions below, it would be awesome if there was a way to submit your blog to a database that was organized by city, zip, and/or county. That way us bloggers can stay united and are able to form cool groups and meet ups like this. But stay tuned, because I just got an email today for my personal blog, A Fox & A Wolf, and may have the opportunity to meet a few local bloggers that I don't know about yet and maybe get my hands on a list of several others. This dream may come true! Thanks for poppin and sayin hi! XO
DeleteI've wanted to do something like this as well, but haven't been able to find any bloggers nearby! I wish there was a website where bloggers and small stores could join and be grouped by area. I hope you find people!
ReplyDeleteI think you may have a good idea there Natalie with the website thing. If I knew anything about web development, I would totally start a website that allowed you to enter your blog into a database that was organized by your area. That way it would be easy for bloggers to look up some other local bloggers and do things like this. Hmmm.... maybe I can...
DeleteThanks for stopping by and saying hi!
